I thought the things that happen in the last episode of season 7 at the end of the episode kind of made it seem like HBO was Rushing the Writing because what happened without spoiling it for you made it seem like the BIG BAD of the series that has gone neglected til this point was going to lay waste to almost everything but king’s landing in short order.  So I’ve been warning people that the Series unleashe’s a “Dues ex machina” for the night king and it looks like things will be wrapped up in short order of BAD WRITING…

but the Writers at HBO have pleasantly surprised me.

I solved a problem for myself without even having to ask for helpPaulmy IDE OpenCOBOLide is vaporware is no longer maintained and to make matters even more frustrating the  documentation was purged by the creators of the program so I had to dig into the wayback machine (Thank lilith for archivist) to figure out how to fix the problem I had.  The book I’m using uses * symbols to issue comments and I didn’t know why it was erroring out on me so I went through the documentation of the IDE…  using the wayback machine: https://web.archive.org/web/20160611065922/http://opencobolide.readthedocs.io/en/latest/settings.html

and I figured out how to set it to  * Now the comments will work.Didn’t even have to make myself look dumb and ask question.

When I was in elementary I pretty much had to hang out with the younger kids and I remember silly shit I don’t really want to talk about that I pulled off in my younger years but it CEMENTED a reputation for myself that I just couldn’t get out from under no matter how hard I tried or how evident it was that they were the children and I was the grownup in the room...
